How to resign?

Right now, I'm in a very difficult situation. I'm having a problem on how to resign from my occupation. I am currently working as a web developer. I love this work. This is very challenging for me and fun. But something came out. My application for an instructor has been accepted. Then I decided to accept the offer because I find it amusing and a very good experience. My subjects are still in line with my course Computer Engineering. I will be teaching students in the same course as mine. I'm very excited about it.

But the problem is, I haven't passed a resignation letter to our boss yet. And I'm gonna be having my last day in office tomorrow. Oh my God. Good heavens help me.

I've secured the resignation letter already but our boss is not around. Somebody told me that he has gone to Cebu to get his car and he will be back tomorrow. Oh c'mon.. Right now, I'm planning that I will just call him and announce my resignation. Is it a good idea? I don't know. Grrr. Why am i caught into a situation like this?

  1. i think dapat nung isang araw mo pa ginawa yang pag reresign mo.. This your last day pra sabihin sa boss mo ung totoo..hehehe.. magdala ka na lng ng ambulansya bka kasi ma heart attack ang boss mo kpag nalaman nya na last day mo na ngaun.... Gudluck...Kaya mo yan.. Go Gurl....

  3. I guess ur boss will be shocked but he has no choice, but will be forced to accept ur resignation.

    Because you finally decided to quit, never be afraid to let your boss know about your plan as early as possible. Actually the earlier the better but it already happened. If you could get him by phone you better do it right now. Just tell him about your plan and set an appointment to talk with him tomorrow in his office. At least you let him know today, not on your very last day in the office..At first he might get upset but just speak to him politely, okay?

    Kaya mo yan cuz..and it's a good opportunity also for you!

  4. hay salamat. Thank you so much for your advice te. Murag nalandagan na ahong huna huna. Good idea tong imong giingon nga set an appointment with him tomorrow. That would be great.
    What I'm doing now is I keep on calling him but no answer. I wonder what happened to him? Hmmph. Gikan man daw tog cebu. baw niabot na ba. Hehe.

  5. i think it's so informal to tender a resignation through phone calls or a verbal resignations. such a bad practice...
